FIELD LACROSSE
QMLA is seeking interest from players at the U9 and U11 age divisions interested in playing competitive (travel) spring field lacrosse. Games will be on Saturdays from April 12th to May 10th in Peterborough and Durham Region followed by Provincial Finals on May 17/18 at a TBD location (likely Greater Toronto Area), with one practice/week during that time. Please email us if this is something you would be interested in.
HELP US OUT!
Whether you have played lacrosse or not, we can use your help. We are looking for coaches for our recreational teams and other volunteers to help with various tasks. Let us know how you can help!
OFFICIALS
A big way you can help out and get paid is to become an official with the QMLA. A certification clinic is being held in Kingston on Sunday April 6th and we are looking for a few more prospective officials to attend. Let us know if you are interested.
SPONSORSHIP
Once again we are asking for help from our community to support the growth of Canada’s National Sport in the Quinte region. QMLA relies on funds from the community to keep registration fees as low as possible. Many expenses are incurred to provide a rewarding experience for our players. The acquisition of goalie equipment, shot clocks (not provided by arenas), spare nets, balls, and recreational league jerseys are just a few things that add to our expenses yearly on top of Ontario Lacrosse player registration and insurance fees, arena rentals fees and officials’ fees. Please consider sponsoring us in 2025.
